3.3. Interlaboratory Comparison ( Sub clause of terms and definitions)

Organization , perfomance and evaluation of the measurement or tests on the same or similar items by two or more laboratories in accordance with predetermined condition.

“The laboratory shall participate in interlaboratory comparisons, also known as proficiency testing, to:

  • Demonstrate the accuracy and reliability of its test and calibration results
  • Compare its performance with other laboratories

The laboratory shall:
